Horace

What programs or tools did you use?
Almost entirely Paint Tool Sai, except on the snow, I did part of the snow in Photoshop.

Where did you find your inspiration for your entry?
I've been wanting to draw owls for a while. So my original idea was basically just "I'm gonna make a thing with an owl in it." And the obvious opposite for an owl is a mouse, so... mouse! The rest of it just kind of happened, I was trying to make it look really good.

How long did it take to complete?
This took me three(four?) days. I couldn't say how many hours because I wasn't really keeping track, but i can say i watched several childrens' movies more than once.

I didn't like any of the titles I came up with for this so I just named the owl... mouse... owlse... mowl....... whatever, I named it him Horace and went with that. I think the other owl might be named Lilian and the other mouse could be Andrew.

So yaaaaaaaayyy! I didn't start with a story in mind for Horace, but, you know, a brain can get up to quite a lot in three(four?) days. So now he's part of at least two stories, though he's just a supporting character in one and he won't even show up for very long at all in the other.

My brain is a bit fried.  But it's good. We're all good. Everything is good. Awesome.
